Diamond drilling

When a large piece of cylindrical material needs to be removed then diamond core drilling is the best method to use. The drilling bit of this piece of equipment is fitted with diamonds which are able to cut through most materials quite easily. Diamond core drilling gets its name from the diamonds used to cut the materials. This method is often used to cut a cylindrical shape out of concrete. But diamond core drilling is not used to only cut cylindrical holes. The diamond core drilling process is also used for a number of other purposes and has a number of benefits that other forms of drilling do not have.

Stitch drilling

This form of drilling is used to create complex and non-standard shapes and this is done by joining several holes together.

Rotary percussion (Hammer) drilling

Used when creating smaller bore holes when cost is of importance and the impact of the task is less of an issue.

Magnetic drill cutting

Used when creating holes in steel normally steel joists in the construction industry. Can also use a stitch drilling technique to form shapes and openings,

Concrete wall cutting

Wall sawing uses a track mounted diamond blades concrete saw which is either electrically or hydraulically driven, used to form openings in walls and soffits up to 700mm deep, in reinforced concrete and other building materials.

Floor Sawing

Our concrete floor sawing machines can be either diesel, petrol or electrically driven to produce cuts up to 525mm deep in concrete slabs, using diamond tipped cutting blades.

Chasing and slot cutting

Chasing is used to create a recess for pipe work or cabling primarily and is done by cutting two parallel cuts and the knocking out the internal section.
